Xanthorrhoea

Xanthorrhoea is a genus of about 30 species of flowering plants endemic to Australia, and is a member of the family Asphodelaceae, being the only member of the subfamily Xanthorrhoeoideae. The Xanthorrhoeoideae are monocots, part of order Asparagales.
